Probe uncovers layered network of forged bank accounts, prepaid payment instruments (PPIs) and digital wallets allegedly used to route and disguise proceeds of 'pig butchering' scam
The ED arrested Arpit Rathore in a money laundering case linked to the digital arrest of industrialist SP Oswal, who was extorted of Rs 7 crore. Rathore facilitated cybercrimes, including providing mule accounts, and received USDT and rupees as payment. The ED seized cash and digital devices, and Rathore is in custody until January 5th.
G.P. Hinduja, chairman of the Hinduja Group, died at 85. He was a prominent industrialist and a champion of India-UK ties. He fostered business links, was known for his philanthropy, and oversaw major projects like the OWO Raffles hotel.
