The Indian Navy received the indigenously-built anti-submarine warfare ship 'Androth' from GRSE, Kolkata. It strengthens India's maritime defense, countering China's presence in the Indian Ocean. The ship, named after an island in the Lakshadweep archipelago, boosts coastal surveillance and features indigenous weaponry.
