Sunday, January 7, 2001, Chandigarh, India  |  | L U D H I A N A | No scope for another VDIS: CBDT chief LUDHIANA, Jan 6 — The Chairman of Central Board of Direct Taxes, Mr A. Balasubranian has ruled out another voluntary disclosure of income scheme, saying it was only a one-time incentive. After inaugurating a cyber library here today, Mr Balasubranian told reporters that VDIS was introduced in 1997 as the tax rates were brought down.
