Non-absorption of teachers: PCCTU plans protest

Members of the Punjab and Chandigarh College Teachers Union have decided to launch an agitation following the failure of the Punjab Government to provide a solution for the absorption of staff affected by the shifting of plus two classes.

A Division Bench of the Punjab and Haryana High Court today directed the central government standing counsel to ensure all possible protection to Lt-Col Sanjay Sitanshu, persecutor in the Tehelka case who has moved the court alleging victimisation over his role in the Tehelka court martial.
