Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little.

Departure: They were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 35.4C, recorded at Barmer in Rajasthan.

Departure: They were above normal in Haryana, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 13.46C, recorded at Chandigarh.

Forecast valid until the morning of November 2: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
