Three car-borne men robbed Rs 4.5 lakh in broad daylight from the proprietor of a mill here today.

The CJM, Rajinder Aggarwal, has sentenced Surinder Singh, owner of Anand Flour Mill, Gobind Colony, Jamalpur, to six months imprisonment under the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act. He was also ordered to pay a fine of Rs 1,000.
