Pakistani link to the terror plot unearthed recently in the
United States, Union Home Minister P Chidambaram said today.
American citizen Headley, 49, and Pakistani-born Canadian
citizen Tahawwur Hussein Rana, 48, were arrested by the FBI in
the US recently for plotting attacks in India at the behest of
Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT).

free trade agreement (FTA) between them within a year.

killed as bus falls into gorge Dharamsala, November 6
An overcrowded private bus fell
into a 200-ft-deep gorge which claimed lives of 34 passengers and left
32 critically injured this morning. The dead include six children, 13
females and 15 males. According to sources, though the seating capacity
of the bus was 32, there were over 66 persons on board, including the
roof of the bus.

The BJP seems to be “inching”
towards some resolution of its Karnataka crisis with the party high
command signalling here today that it was willing to accommodate the
dissident views short of removal of the Chief Minister. The crisis was
born out of a demand by Bellary Reddy brothers for replacement of Chief
Minister BS Yedyurappa with a person of their choice.

Fifty lakh jobs will be available
in Punjab by 2015! Sounds incredible. But it’s true. The assessment
has been made by none other than the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII),
which hired a consultancy firm for a survey on how much skilled manpower
would be required in the state in the next six years.
