I dreamt of my cousin getting married. I also saw a church which had many books in it. The marriage was not being held in the church.

Monica, Jalandhar

A marriage depicts much pleasure. Church stands for disappointments. To see books is a warning to shun evil in any form. Pleasures await you only if you do not give in to any vice.

I am 33 years old. My mother passed away in 1984. Last year when I was in the family way, I dreamt of my mother. She asked me to let her play with my child. Three days later I had a miscarriage. Is there any relation between my mother asking for the child and the miscarriage?

Renu, Hisar

Can any mother ever wish anything wrong for her child? It is a mere coincidence. Maybe the thought of motherhood bought back memories of your own childhood. The child your mother wanted to play with was you.

I am a 30-year-old married woman. I dreamt of my father, who expired four years ago. I saw him in the market-place I rushed home and told my mother. She too rushed to the market and on seeing him, embraced him shedding tears. During the meeting, my father’s face remained expressionless. Later on my mother told me that I had unnecessarily made noise as he was somebody else and not my father. What does this dream imply?

Sunita, Panchkula

You miss your father’s presence, therefore you want him to come back. But at the same time the truth is hard to ignore. — thus your mother’s contradiction that the man is not your father. Loss of somebody close is hard to bear but time is a great healer, Sunita.

I am 23 years old. Two years ago I took up a course in engineering but failed to complete it. Now, I have again joined it. During examination days I dream of being inside a high building and trying to find my way out. Finally, I do come out.

Winnie Chopra, Ludhiana

You have made a mountain out of a molehill. Your inability to complete the course earlier has made you apprehensive. Your finding a way out portrays your success. So do not give up, work hard and success shall come to you.
