Sunday: The monsoon has advanced into the remaining parts of Himachal Pradesh and parts of Punjab & Haryana including Chandigarh. Rainfall occurred at a few places in the area. The maximum rainfall in Chandigarh was 2 cm and 1 cm each in Amritsar and Bhuntar. On Saturday day temperature fell in Haryana and Punjab. They were appreciably below normal in Haryana & Punjab.

Forecast: Moderate to heavy rain will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana & Punjab.
