Monday: Monsoon was vigorous in Himachal Pradesh, South-West Monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of Punjab and Haryana.

Rain has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and at many places in Punjab and at a few places in Haryana. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Nahan & Nagrota Surian 7 each; Chandigarh 6; Pandoh & Ghamroor 5 each; Shimla, Sujanpur Tira and Nadaun 4 each; Guler 3; Bhuntar, Ambala, Una, Solan, Kasol, RL-1700 (Sutlej Beas catchment area) and Nangal Dam 2 each and Kalpa & Kahu 1 each.

Day temperatures fell appreciably in Punjab and changed a little in Haryana. They were largely below normal in Punjab and markedly below normal in Haryana.

Forecast: Moderate to rather heavy rain is likely to occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places in Haryana and Punjab.
