On Thursday, day temperatures fell appreciably in Haryana and Himachal and fell in Punjab. They were below normal in Haryana and Punjab and were normal in Himachal. The highest temperature in the area was 36°C recorded at Hisar.

Night temperatures fell and were normal in the area. The lowest temperature in the plains was 20.3°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast: Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places in Himachal and at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab.
