|Gold bars seized
AMRITSAR, March 4 (UNI) The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized 18 bars of gold valued at the over Rs 10 lakh from two persons at the Ludhiana railway station today. DRI Deputy Director R.C. Sankhla said here that the bars weighing 2.40 kg had been smuggled from Nepal by two Ludhiana-based residents Vishal Sharma and Shashi Bhushan Sharma. "The two had concealed the bars in their rectum. They were nabbed by DRI sleuths after they alighted from a passenger train," he said. Both of them have been arrested.
