           Rainfall: rain or snow has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in
          Haryana, at a few places in Punjab and western Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Eastern Uttar
          Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cms are:
          Haryana: Chandigarh and Pehowa  3 each; Delhi ridge, Julana, New Delhi
          (Ayanagar), Panipat, Sonepat and Thanesar  2 each; and Ambala,
          Ballabhgarh, Narwana, Naraingarh, Nilokheri, New Delhi (Palam,
          Safdarjung) and Rohtak  1 each; Himachal Pradesh: Dharampur and Sangrah  2 each and
          Mandi, Nahan, Shimla and Sundernagar  1 each; Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly  1;
          Uttaranchal: Dehradun  3; Snowfall: Himachal Pradesh: Dhundi  3. Date received snowfall report

          Haryana, fell appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan and west Uttar
