Rangoli, poster making, mehndi, embroidery, essay and poetry recitation competitions were held at Ramgarhia Girls College, Miller Ganj yesterday. As many as 200 students participated in these competitions.

The +1 students of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, BRS Nagar, today organised a farewell function for the outgoing +2 batch. The function was graced by Rt Revd Dr Symphorian Keeprath Bishop of Jalandhar, who is also the patron of the institution. Amidst cheer and applause the +2 students were ushered into the pandal and rose petals were showered on them.

Defence Ministry team visits PAU

A high level team of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, visited Punjab Agriculture University (PAU). The team was led by Admiral I.K. Saluja. The team was representing National Defence College to study the socio-economic conditions in Punjab.
