        job role or designation. SAS solutions SAS, a provider of new
        generation of business intelligence software and services, has announced
        the launch of SAS industry intelligence solutions that address the
        critical business needs for the telecommunications, banking and
        insurance industries. They essentially are a series of packaged
        applications that contain embedded domain expertise and an extensible
        underlying architecture. Built upon 26 years of market leadership, these
        packaged solutions, currently for the telecom, banking and insurance
        sectors, integrate SAS extensive industry experience with leading
        analytical and data management technology. STM chips  STMicroelectronics
        unveiled first details of a new family of multimedia application
        processor chips that will enable portable terminals to play music, take
        pictures, record video, and host two-way visual communication in real
        time. These processors are aimed at 2.5/3G mobile phones, personal
        digital assistants and other portable wireless products with multimedia
        capability. In addition, the new family of chips will find applications
        in automotive multimedia. Called Nomadik, ST’s multimedia application
        processor family offers ultra-low power consumption, which is
        facilitated by the optimal partitioning of the chip between hardware and
