STMicroelectronics has introduced the STi5517, the latest member of its OMEGA family of STB decoder solutions. The new System-on-Chip (SoC) device sets unprecedented standards in terms of performance, security and integration while retaining full compatibility with earlier solutions, thereby ensuring fast, safe and cost-effective product migration. It is suitable for use in cable, terrestrial and satellite TV applications.


Lexmark International has introduced its wide range of laser solutions for businesses of all sizes in India. The range includes entry-level mono-laser printers, high performance mono-laser printers, wide format printers and colour laser printers that cater to varying needs of enterprise, corporate and government customers. "Our philosophy is Customers for Life - and this drives us to deliver high technology products at affordable prices, service and support to our customers across India," said PG Kamath, General Manager, Lexmark International India Pvt Ltd. (LIIPL).


NIIT, will triple its network of centres offering training on Oracle technologies. The IT training major will now offer Oracle9i Database through over 200 centres spread across India. This expansion program is part of Oracle’s Workforce Development Program designed to extend opportunities to individuals gain skills on Oracle Technologies.
