Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: east Rajasthan: Bakani 4, Chapi Dam 3, Atru 2 and Danpur, Gangdhar, Sahabad and Shalarapatan 1 each, west Rajasthan: Bikaner 3 and east Uttar Pradesh: Jaunpur 21, Chandradeepghat 5, Khadda and Palliakalan 3 each, Ballia, Ghazipur and Raebareilly 2 each and Dalmau, Kakrahi, Mukhlishpur and Turtipar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of October 2: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in east Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
