Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: they were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region.

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed a little. Departure: They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plain was 11C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of October 25: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
