Garment exporters decry CBDT move to tax profit on sale
New Delhi: The garment exporters association has resented the step taken by the Central Board of Direct Taxes to bring profits on sale or transfer of DEPB licence under the tax net. The exporters alleged that the garment export is already on the edge with the impending phaseout of quotas under the WTO agreement of textiles and clothing.

The existing dispensary and local office operating from rented buildings in Palam village will be shifted to the new complex on its completion.
