OFFICE-BEARERS: The following have been elected office-bearers of the Income Tax Gazetted Services Association, Chandigarh and Panchkula: President — Mr B.S. Pathania (Asstt Commissioner); Vice-President — Ms Vandna Dwivedi (ITO); Secretary — Mr S.P. Gupta (Asstt Commissioner); and Joint Secretary — Mr G.P. Singh (ITO).
ELECTED: Mr B.S. Pathania has been elected president of the Income Tax Gazetted Services Association. Mr Bandana Dwivedi was elected vice-president. According to a press note, Mr S.P. Gupta is the new secretary. Mr G.P. Singh was elected joint secretary. The co-ordinator-cum-auditor is Mr Chander Mohan. The treasurer is Mr Amrik Singh.
WORLD BOOK DAY: To mark World Book Day, Central State Library, Sector 17, organised a book exhibition here on Friday. The exhibition is being organised in two sections — a special children’s wing that displays the latest story books, reference books, science and technology, facts and general knowledge books.
Stolen: Mr Lalit Kumar Sharma, a resident of The Tribune Colony, Sector 29-D, has complained to the police that the new bicycle of her daughter, Ms Parul Sharma, has been stolen from the Sector 46-C market. A case has been registered.
