Jubilation over SC verdict on SYL Canal

It was a celebration of a different kind. Celebration for getting water via the Satluj Yamuna Link canal. The city was illuminated and sweets distributed among people. As soon as the Supreme Court verdict in the long pending SYL canal case became known in the afternoon, there was jubilation.

Anmol, Vikas win Zee TV’s audition

Anmol Gill, a 23-year-old computer engineer and Vikas Sharma, a second year DAV College student, emerged winners of Zee TV’s “India’s best auditions” during the finals held here today.
