Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: East Uttar Pradesh: Balrampur 2 and Sultanpur 1 and West Uttar Pradesh: Jhansi 2.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 37.4C recorded at Sikar (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were above normal in Haryana and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 17.5C recorded at Udaipur City (Rajasthan).
