Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change minimum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 36.2C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Departure: The temperature in the plains was 14.0C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 22: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
