Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures fell in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were below normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 36.0C recorded at Jaisalmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were below normal in Punjab, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.8C recorded at Adampur.
