Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at Isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttaranchal, Haryana and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were above normal in Uttaranchal, below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 42.6C recorded at Dholpur (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of May 14: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated dust storm/thunderstorm is likely in Haryana and west Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
