Lengthy arguments at MC meeting

Long arguments among councillors marked the municipal council meeting held here today.
Some councillors wanted that the proposal cleared by the House at its meeting
held last month of demoting a clerk, Pardeep Kumar, who was allegedly involved
in embezzlement, should be reconsidered by the House as they claimed that the
punishment was given due to “personal differences”.

HUDA contractors hold dharna
