Electrocution of six: MC rejects probe report

The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation has rejected the report of the magisterial inquiry into the electrocution of six persons after two electricity poles fell into Sidhwan Canal, virtually challenging the investigation by a Magistrate on the plea that the inquiry was “not based on the facts”.

Cattle feed samples examined

A team of officials of the state Dairy Development Department visited various industrial units engaged in manufacturing of cattle feed at the local town today.
