Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.4C recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hour change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were above normal in Haryana and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 17.7C recorded at Pilani (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 8: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.
