Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were above normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan, below normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 37 C recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were normal over the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.6 C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 28: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be dry in the rest of the region.
