Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperature changed little.

Departure: It was above normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38C recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperature fell in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: It was below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 29: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
