CBI probe against ’84 riots accused an eyewash: SAD

A former minister and senior Akali leader, Mr Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal, today said his party was quite skeptical about the
government of India referring the inquiry against senior Congress leaders involved in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in Delhi to the CBI.
PSEB flayed for erratic power supply
Ludhiana, October 28
The BKU has criticised the PSEB for inadequate and erratic power supply to the agriculture sector.
In a statement here today, the BKU president, Mr Ajmer Singh Lakhowal, and the general secretary, Mr Manjit Singh Kadian, claimed that rural feeders were getting supply just for two to three hours in a day.
Vishwakarma celebrations on November 2
