Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperature changed little.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Utttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 36.4C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperature fell in Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: they were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 9.8C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).
