Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departure: This was appreciably below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.9C recorded at Ludhiana (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 19: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 19: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 12C.
