Student blames teacher for injuries
Ludhiana, November 25
Mystery shrouds the injuries suffered by a Class Five student of Ewing Public School who alleged he had suffered ligament rapture on his arms and legs besides bruises on other parts of the body after being thrashed by a class teacher yesterday.
Sagar Nasrani, who was allegedly beaten by his school teacher, under treatment at the CMC hospital, Ludhiana.

The second day of computer carnival going on at Sacred Heart Convent School was abuzz with all computer-related activities .Four competitions were held today. The results are as follows:

The martyrdom day of Guru Teg Bahadur, the ninth Guru of the Sikhs was observed at Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, here yesterday. An akhand path was organised at Gurdwara Sarjit on the college campus.

LKG and UKG of Kundan Vidya Mandir organised a singing competition here today. Twentyfour students participated and sang patriotic songs.

Ludhiana, November 25
A national integration week held at SDP College for Women concluded here today. Ms Shweta Verma, Chairperson, District Child Welfare Council, presided. Children from 20 schools set up under the National Child Labour Project, participated.
