Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cms are: Jammu and Kashmir: Quazigund 4, Pahalgam 2 and Banihal, Bhaderwah, Kupwara and Srinagar 1 each.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperature fell appreciably in Punjab and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were above normal in Haryana, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.4C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 1, 2005: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
