NSS camp at Daad village

A 10-day N S S camp of S C D Govt College for Boys was inaugurated by Dr.Amarjeet Kaur, in charge, Blood Bank, DMC Hospital Daad village today.

Principal Dr.Malkiat Singh, Vice Principal Mohinder Singh Grewal welcomed the chief guest. Prof.Rajdeep Gill delivered a lecture on the camp activities. A vote of thanks was given by Prof Parveen Gupta, programme officer (Girls section).

Prof.R.K. Miglani, Head of Commerce Department, was also present. The projects undertaken at the camp are cleanliness and beautification of the project areas, teaching of students belonging the financially weaker sections of the village. Senior group leader Naresh Bhardwaj and deputy group leader Prabhat Jain, Upneet Khera conducted the programme.

NSS volunteers hold rally

Ludhiana December 24
A 10-day NSS camp was inaugurated yesterday at Gobindgarh Public College, Khanna. Mr Suresh Goyal, Chairman, College Managing Committee, presided over the inaugural ceremony. Mr O.P. Goyal, president, Mr Chaman Lal Garg, secretary and Principal Suresh Tandon blessed the volunteers and motivated them to participate in various activities with enthusiasm.

A social rally to create awareness regarding female foeticide, drug addiction, AIDS, Illiteracy etc was organised by NSS volunteers of GPC in collaboration with students of Government School Alour.

Camp at college

A 10-day NSS camp was inaugurated by Mr Kuldeep Singh, Assistant Commissioner, Ludhiana, on the college campus here on Sunday. The programme officer, Dr Yograj, in a press statement said the camp would undertake various projects in the college and surrounding areas.

President Mr Naveen Mittal and Principal Dr Vijay Asdhir presented bouquets and shawls to the chief guest. TNS
