Cash looted: Four car-borne persons allegedly snatched a bag containing Rs 2.40 lakh from two employees of a petrol station here on Thursday. The victim, Mehar Singh, said he had been working with the petrol station in Banwala village, 7 km from Fazilka, for many years. He said when he, along with another employee, was going to a bank to deposit the cash belonging to the petrol station, a Tata Indica allegedly hit their motorcycle near Truck Union here following which they fell down. He alleged that four persons came out of the car and snatched the bag from them at gunpoint. The police said teams of officials had been sent to different directions to locate the alleged dacoits.
