Investigations in the admission scam involving the PEC University of Technology has revealed that Mahinder Bajaj, a co-accused, was also instrumental in fraudulently getting 19 students admitted to a deemed university ó Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur ó under the direct admission of students abroad (DASA) scheme during the current academic session. Sources in the CBI said Bajaj disclosed this during interrogation.

Motorcyclist killed, 3 hurt in mishaps
