Sportspersons felicitated: The Sarhad-E-Punjab Sports Club celebrated its 10th foundation day today. Club president Gurinder Singh Mattusaid the club organised various sports events every year. The club had also felicitated ten students of matriculation, who had secured positions in the merit list as well as 100 athletes.

4 die in accidents:Four persons, including two brothers, died in two separate road accidents on the NH-1 in Ramban district since last night. According to police sources, Ratan Singh Raju was crushed by a Srinagar-bound truck last night. In another accident, three persons, including two brothers, died when their Srinagar bound-truck bearing registration number JK14B-9210 rolled down into a 50-ft gorge at Chamalwas in Banihal in the wee hours today.
