MGN schoolchildren bag CBSE scholarship

Students of the local MGN Public School have made their institution proud by winning CBSE scholarship under the Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) scheme to the students.

The scholarship has been awarded to those students who were in the top merit list of CBSE Class XII board examinations held this year. Among the achievers are Anmol Garg, Anmol Kaur Dhanju, Simarjot Singh Sodhi and Shivali Sokhi. The award has been sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology under the Ministry of Science and Technology.

These students would receive Rs 80,000 per annum for five consecutive years for pursuing their higher studies at colleges and universities.
