India ready for regional co-op to help Afghanistan: Khurshid
Almaty, April 26 (ANI): India wants to be a part of solution in Afghanistan, not the problem and that it would continue the peace work in the conflict prone region. Union Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid stated this in an exclusive interview with Asian News International (ANI) aboard the aircraft while flying to Kazakhstan.

No more alcohol on Goa beaches!
Panaji, April 26 (ANI): The tourism department in Goa has prohibited drinking and carrying of liquor bottles on its beaches with an aim to curb nuisance and preserve the tourist spot. The Director of Tourism Department of Goa, Nikhil Desai revealed that the decision to ban liquor consumption on beaches was taken to ensure that tourists do not face any problems.

Coalgate: CBI Director admits Law Min saw draft
New Delhi, April 26 (ANI): CBI director Ranjit Sinha on Friday filed a 2-page affidavit in the Supreme Court stating that the draft status report on the infamous coal scam had been shared with Union Law Minister Ashwini Kumar. The affidavit clearly mentions that the draft status report on coal was shared with the joint secretary in PMO and other coal ministry officials as well.

NIA to continue probe against two Italian marines: SC
New Delhi, April 26 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Friday said that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) will continue to probe the case of two Italian Marines accused of killing two fishermen off the Kerala coast in February 2012. The apex court said that a special court will conduct day-to-day proceedings against the two Italian Marines-Massimiliano Latorre and Salvatore Girone, adding that no other case would be attended to by the court.
