NGO moves SC to call for Tehelka recordings

Mumbai, October 27
A city-based NGO, Citizens for Justice and Peace, headed by Teesta Setalvad, has filed an intervening application in the Supreme Court, asking for examination of evidence gathered by Tehelka in its recent sting operation. The application has been filed in relation to pending petitions seeking transfer of 2002 Gujarat riot cases outside the state.
