Sites shortlisted for British Council library in city
CHANDIGARH, Dec 18 — The top floor of the Sector 34 library and a location at Punjab Engineering College have been shortlisted as alternate sites for setting up the proposed British Council library in the city after the Administrator of Chandigarh, Lieut-Gen JFR Jacob (retd), reversed the earlier decision of the Chandigarh Administration to offer a portion of the Sector 10, Government Museum and Art Gallery complex for the same.
