Wednesday: Cold wave conditions prevailing in parts of Punjab while the weather was dry in Haryana, Himachal and Punjab.

Night temperatures changed little in area. These are markedly below normal in Punjab, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in Haryana. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.9°C recorded at Ludhiana.

Forecast: Light to moderate rain or snow is likely to occur at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Mainly sunny days likely in Haryana and Punjab.
