Nov 16 The enforcement staff of the
Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh removed
encroachments from public land in Sectors 39-A
and 47-D here today. According to sources, angle
irons, barbed wires and hedges, which had
virtually come to the road berms, were removed by
the staff. |

Nov 16 Travelling in the local buses became costly
from today following a hike in the bus fares by Transport
Department of the Chandigarh Administration.
