Admn to shift polluting industrial
units
LUDHIANA, Dec 29 — Ludhiana may get the desperately
sought-after breathing space in the new year, with the district
administration having decided to shift the polluting industries out of
the city. A new industrial complex measuring about 1100 acres has been
earmarked for the purpose which will provide space to the displaced
industrial units.
