Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.6C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 16th 2002: Weather will be mainly dry over the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 16th 2002: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 9C.
