 For the Congress leaders in Ludhiana, the recent appointments of chairpersons and directors in various boards and corporations has come as a rude shock.
         Of the over 100 appointments, Ludhiana has got only a few nominations, with Mr Pawan
        Dewan, Mr Gurdev Singh Lapran,  Mr Amarjit Singh Tikka, Ms Bajinder Kaur, Ms Harbans Kaur and Mr Gurdeep Singh being nominated as directors or members of different boards and corporations.

 This is a different sort of a summer camp where, the organisers claim, the nationalistic spirit is awakened among the volunteers and they are given thorough orientation on various issues concerning the nation, besides being trained in various physical activities.
              About 250 volunteers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh are
              undergoing training in this summer camp being organised on the
              premises of the Bhartiya Vidya Mandir, Kitchloo Nagar. The summer
              camp started on June 10 and will continue till June 30.
