The sad incidents of forcible cutting of hairs of a Sikh student by
other students in Jaipur and seizing of the passport of Sarabjit
Singh, a medico in Saudi Arabia, evoked a strong protest by various
Sikh organisations here today.

The Sessions Judge, Mr Harbans Lal, has sentenced Dharm Dass, aged 44
and hailing from UP, to rigorous life imprisonment on the charges of
murdering a labourer, Prashad, in March, 2001, due to enmity.

two kids with father

Nishkam Seva Ashram handed over two boys Sachin (7) and Rohit (5) to
their father on Saturday. The boys were sent by SHO Div No. 3 Kuldeep
Singh on Thursday night as their mother was being admitted to the CMC
Hospital by a person.
