Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Himaachal Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of region.The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pardesh: Dharamsala 1, Jammu and Kashmir: - Udhampur and Basoli 2 each and Katra 1, Punjab:- Ludhiana 3 and Phagwara 1 east Rajasthan:- Ajmer and Shahpura 1 each, west Rajasthan:- Padampur and Ganganagar Tehsil 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Lucknow AP and Sultanpur 2 each and Bansi, Bhatpurwaghat, Elginbridge and Neemsar 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly FM 1 and Uttarakhand: Uttarkashi 3 and Muktewshwar 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 26: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and at isolated places in the rest of the region except west Rajasthan where it will remain mainly dry. 

Outlook for the subsequent two days: Rainfall activity is likely to increase in east Uttar Pradesh.
